PrePress Operator
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our fast paced Digital Pre-press Department. Our successful candidate will possess:
A diploma in Printing Technology or Graphic Design paired with a minimum of 2 years printing experience or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision
Meticulous attention to detail while thriving in a multi tasking environment
Excellent communication skills
Required Technical Skills
Adobe Creative Suite CS2/3 with particular strengths in Illustrator
Knowledge of Quark Xpress
Sound working knowledge of Macintosh operating system or Windows Application
Excellent understanding of the Litho, Flexo and Gravure printing process
Solid Understanding of artwork preparation and trouble shooting
PDF based work flows and Computer-to-plate operations
Digital proofing and colour management
Creation of mock-ups and layouts
Additional Technical Skills An Asset
Packaging related repress knowledge
Art Pro systems
ICC profiling and Colour Management
